Since 1985, the Lifeline program has provided a discount on phone service for qualifying low-income consumers to ensure that all Americans have the opportunities and security that phone service brings, including being able to connect to jobs, family and emergency services. Lifeline is part of the Universal Service Fund. The Lifeline program is available to eligible low-income consumers in every state, territory, commonwealth, and on Tribal lands.
Our Lifeline program offers eligible customers a FREE SMART Phone, 500 FREE minutes of nationwide wireless voice service, unlimited FREE text messages each month and 1 GB of Data. There are no bills, long-term contracts or activation fees for Lifeline Wireless customers.
The Lifeline program is brought to you by American Broadband & Telecommunications and is a Lifeline Assistance program supported by the Universal Service Fund. Lifeline Assistance is only available on one phone line per household (landline or wireless). Lifeline Wireless is available in limited geographic areas-please reference the Availability and Coverage maps.
